VP Alupo Challenges Advisors On Giving M7 Research-Based Advice

VP Alupo interacts with some of the SPAs at NALI

Vice President Maj. Jessica Alupo has challenged all presidential advisors to carry out research if they are to give meaningful advice to the president.

She made the remarks while officiating at the opening of a 5-day retreat for all senior presidential advisors and assistants at the National Leadership Institute-Kyankwanzi.


“As presidential advisors, you need to know your dockets very well and know all the government activities going on in those dockets. Therefore do a lot of research and know the new innovations that can help what to advise the president” she said.
She highlighted the 5 fundamental aspects which the president wants leaders to put emphasis on including patriotism, service delivery, zero tolerance to corruption and regional integration among others.


“Therefore, we need to work as a team to achieve those objectives. Presidential Advisors should pay special attention and interest in government programs especially the Parish Development Model” she said.


Alupo asked the presidential Advisors to work in cohension to enable the president execute his duties as required by law. She also tasked them to adhere to the laid down Standard Operating Procedures on COVID-19 and also mobilize people to fully observe them.
The VP described the retreat as a unique one because it was the first of it’s kind to happen.
