Clad in a green kitenge with black spots, a visibly jovial Alupo arrived in Kigali aboard RwandAir, an indication of flourishing bilateral relations between the two sister nations.

Alupo was a fortnight ago reaffirmed as the No.2 of the country in a slight cabinet amendment by Gen. Museveni.

The reappointment which was well received by all corners, came just a week after Museveni had bestowed upon workholic Alupo a prestigious medal in the land which has only been awarded to African icons like Mwalimu Julius Nyerere, the former president of Tanzania among other icons on the continent. Museveni commended her for the job well done in various aspects including fighting for women economic empowerment.

Alupo was also hailed by citizens for being well articulate at national, regional and international fora whenever she is deployed to represent the Head of State and the country at large.
