The Minister for Energy and Mineral Development Dr. Ruth Nankabirwa has challenged NCBA bank and other banks to always be innovative and add value to whatever they do.
Dr. Nankabirwa revealed this while officiating at NCBA Bank Golf series at Uganda Golf Club Kitante.
“I want to urge NCBA together with Golfers to always bridge the gap between you and your clients. Know the society where your clients come from. Is there a gap that you can bridge which other companies (Banks) have not yet seen?” She advised adding that;
“This is the world of competition and in the world of competition, you need to be innovative. You need to add value in whatever you are doing”.
In December 2018, NIC and CBA banks merged to form NCBA. NCBA harnessed the power of both NIC and CBA to create a bank that brings together the best of both worlds from cutting edge mobile banking to good old fashioned relationship management.
NCBA Golf series Kampala was organised under the Theme: ‘Course to greatness, timely for the developments within oil and gas sector’
Nankabirwa urged NCBA to think critically on the services they are giving to their clients since they (NCBA) are not the only players in this sector.
The function was crowned with award of prizes to the Golf series winners in different categories.
