The Vice President Maj. Jessica Alupo is already a guest in South Africa to represent her boss, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni at the inauguration ceremony of H.E Cyril Ramaphosa, the newly elected president of South Africa.
Alupo was officially received at Oliver Thambo International Airport by Hon. Ronald Ozzy Lamola, the minister of Justice and Constitutional Services (ANC Member) and Uganda’s Ambassador to South Africa Paul Amoru, not forgetting a powerful Guard of Honor that spiced up the arrival ceremony.

While being received, the Alupo who is also Katakwi district Woman MP, congratulated South Africa on peacefully forming a government after a peaceful election.
South Africa’s Cyril Ramaphosa is due to be sworn in for a second term in office as president.
Lawmakers re-elected him to stay on as president last week following a deal between his African National Congress (ANC) to form a coalition government with long-time rival Democratic Alliance (DA) and other parties.
Many Heads of State and dignitaries from around the world are expected to attend the inauguration ceremony being held in the capital, Pretoria.
