Salvation Army Bosses Wandulu, Alice Retire After 32years Of Successful Service

Major Joseph Wandulu, together with his wife Major Alice Wandulu, officially retired from active service of the Salvation Army over the weekend at an event held at Buwambingwa Corps Eastern Division in Namisindwa District.

The retirement celebration was led by Colonel Chatanda Theu and Joyce Theu from Malawi Territory.

Maj. Wandulu Joseph appreciated his family and entire salvation army leadership for the mentorship and support during his active service.

The duo worked at Tororo children’s home, Buteteya Corps, Buwambingwa Corps, Namisindwa Corps, West Divison, Eastern Divison, Kamonyi Divison in Rwanda, Southern Divison, Officer’s training College Jinja, THQ kampala and Central Divison

George William Wopuwa congratulated Majors Alice and Joseph Wandulu for serving the church with reliability, honesty, and commitment asking residents to always value family and God adding that the two will never abandon you in whatever you do.

Simon Mulongo, the former Bubulo East MP, says retirement comes commonly with negative feelings, surprise, and even shock explaining that It’s because one is hardly ready for it, even when it’s well forewarned.

Mulongo, who was represented by his Personal Assistant Abili Makutusi at the event, explained that It’s an opportunity to think deeper, away from dependency to being depended upon .

Mulongo, a staunch follower and Christian under Salvation Army, asked majors Alice and Joseph Wandulu to connect and embrace the new world or business, new developments, new networks, have time for grand kids.
