Bwayo Emma, the Namisindwa District Youth Councilor on Monday evening handed over iron sheets to Busulwa Township boda boda stage in Tsekululu Sub County for the construction of a shed for the riders.
According to Bwayo, during the district women’s day celebrations this year in Busulwa, a group of youth asked him to buy iron sheets and cement for the construction of a shed. Bwayo says the motorcycle business is a source of livelihood for many youth and supporting them with building a shed is important.
Shedrack Magomu, the Chairperson Busulwa Boda boda stage, applauded Bwayo for the support, saying many leaders have ignored their calls towards supporting the setting up of the shed. Magomu asked Bwayo to support other boda boda stages in Namisindwa.
Kutosi Rogers and Namazala Brian are boda boda riders at Busulwa Township boda boda stage. The two have welcomed the support by Bwayo.
His donation left the beneficiaries with smiles after establishing that the Iron sheets were genuine with no investigations being done on them like what the area ministers did when they stole iron sheets.
