In 2years since she was appointed a minister of energy and mineral development, Dr Ruth Nankabirwa has scooped different Awards in recognition of her outstanding service in the ministry of Energy and Mineral Development and the entire Uganda.
Among the Awards scooped include the visionary Uganda Award recognizing for her outstanding contribution towards Uganda’s meddle income status, ABETO Award for being tolerant while serving the nation, the Africa Women in Energy Sector Award for her efforts in the development of energy sector in Uganda and an Appreciation and recognition Award from Bukomero Premier Investment SACCO from Bukomero Town Council in Kiboga district which she got yesterday.
“We have decided to award minister Nankabirwa in appreciation and recognition of her valuable contribution to the growth of Bukomero SACCO” said the SACCO boss Mr Emilio Mpanga.
Mpanga added that ” the minister (Nankabirwa) played a vital role for enabling the use of technology in the management of Bukomero Premier Investment SACCO” he noted.
Minister Nankabirwa applauded the SACCO management for recognizing her efforts.
” I always receive different award both locally and internationally but am so much excited for this Award since its from my constituents” she said.
Bukomero Premier Investment SACCO mission is to provide sustainable financial and non financial services to its members and making members dreams and aspiration a reality.
