The people of Kakumiro district have proved that Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja is a great asset not only to their district but to the country at large!
This was evident last evening as the Leader of Government business in Parliament and also Kakumiro district Woman MP raided the district and staged a mega rally that attracted tens of thousands of voters.
This was at Mpasana Subcounty and Town Council in Kakumiro district where the mammoth crowds showered Nabbanja with love and thunderous applauses as she stepped on the podium to address them.
Waving her posters and those of her boss Gen. Yoweri Museveni, the voters started speaking different languages as if they had been possessed by the Holy spirit once Nabbanja took to the podium.
“Webale kwiiza, webale kwiiza Rt. Hon. Prime Minister wa Uganda. Ohangale ngeinyanja. Nabbanja oweitu (thanks for coming Rt. Hon. Prime Minister of Uganda. Long live Nabbanja. May God grant you more life like a Lake. Nabbanja our own)” the crowds chanted as a visibly happy and speechless Nabbanja waved and bowed several times her head in proper show of love and respect to the enthusiastic wanainchi.
Clad in a well tailored gomesi with a matching yellow kitambala, the Prime Minister thanked the Community of Mpasana S/C and Town Council in Kakumiro district for the warm reception to her.
Nabbanja was in the area to assess the effectiveness of government of Uganda wealth creation programmes and also mobilize for Gen. Museveni’s impending visit to launch the four acre model for all the districts in greater Kibaale and Kikuube. The visit is scheduled for next month.
