The source confirmed to this news site that some of the main highlights from the heated meeting included government’s efforts in fulfilling the 2021-2026 Manifesto. The legislators also expressed disastifation with government’s unfulfilled pledges in Northern Uganda and also the recent Dokolo district woman MP by-elections which was won by UPC.

The Secretary General however, urged members to continue rallying their people to support NRM saying the purpose of the planned tour is partly to enable the Secretariat to know some of the underlying factors affecting the party in the region. Todwong urged members to ensure cohesion as one way to solidify NRM support. He also asked all leaders in the north to rally their people to participate in economic emancipation programs such as the Parish Development Model.
