Kasokoso Ghetto Youths Praise ONC’s Hajat Uzeiye For Reaching Out To Them, Endorse Gen. Museveni For 2026

Like termites slowly eat up a mud house, even Gen. Museveni’s Bazzukulu movement has started eating into opposition strongholds. Currently representerad by FDC’s Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda in parliament, Kira Municipality was today a busy area as the NRM Bazzukulu raided it’s slums begining with Kasokoso in Kireka D.

Under the command of chief Muzzukulu also head of the Office of the National Chairman (ONC) at Kyambogo Hajat Namyalo Hadijah Uzeiye, the Bazzukulu today held various activities in Kasokoso, a heavily populated area which were crowned with signing of the ‘Jjajja Omalako Tova Ku Main’ board by enthusiastic leaders and ghetto youths.

With a population of over 100000 residents, Kasokoso according to NRM vice chairperson Kira Kansiime Susan fully backs Museveni’s 2026 bid.
She however, says the main challenge here is land wrangles and also dishonest NRM leaders who have been selfishly using party resources.
“I am happy that Hajat Uzeiye team has come here and energized us. This is historical because for years, we have not had such an opportunity. NRM we’re many but we’re silenced by a few NUP people because they can shout. Now, we can speak. I thank President Museveni for bringing Hajat Uzeiye to Kyambogo. Now we have where to begin from. She’s on the ground” a jovial Kansiime said during the Kasokoso Youth Festival organised to promote unity and talent by the area youth councilor.

Kansiime said with Hajat Uzeiye at ONC, issues of transparency, accountability and dedicated service are now assured.
“Hajat Uzeiye likes transparency. She’s good. We also urge Jjajja to come to Kasokoso and help us sort land issues here. It’s a big challenge” she said.

Meanwhile, Byandala Gideon the youth Chairperson Kira Municipal Council also commended Hajat Uzeiye for spearheading the Jjajja Omalako Tova Ku Main, a campaign aimed at bringing president Museveni back in 2026.

He however, noted that as youth of Kira, they have been forgotten especially on skills development programs.
“We have been forgotten. We need these skills. We don’t know who’s responsible for us. We want skilling in Kira. We request through Hajat Uzeiye, to meet the president” he said.
The function was attended by especially youths who showcased their talents in singing, boxing, cycling among others.

Byandala said that the purpose of the festival was to bring youths together and raise their voices through talent.
“Politics leaves us divided as youths and we have no other means of getting together. We saw sports as one way we can get united. We thank different stakeholders who have supported this festival especially Hajat Uzeiye and we pledge to work with her and the office as a whole” he said at a function that took place at St. Mary’s Senior Secondary School in Kasokoso-Kireka D.

At the same event, local leaders led by vice chairman Masaba Ibrahim and a number of ghetto youths signed on Jjajja Omalako Tova Ku Main board to affirm their support for Museveni.
The ghetto youths pledged not to participate in protests which they said are destructive and time wasting.
