Government Chief Whip Denis Hamson Obua has paid a courtesy call on the head of NRM Office of the National Chairman (ONC) Hajat Uzeiye Namyalo Hadijah at her office in Kyambogo.
The two principals held a discussion in which they agreed to work together to mobilise the Bazzukulu and also the NRM parliamentary caucus to fast track the implementation of the NRM Party Manifesto.
Obua commended Hajat Uzeiye who heads the Bazzukulu movement and also an SPA/PA, for the job well done in mobilizing the Bazzukulu to demand accountability from leaders so as to achieve better service delivery.
He said as Government Chief Whip, he’s going to ensure that ministers deliver as expected in addition to tasking MPs to keep making regular reports on the progress of implementation of NRM Manifesto in their constituencies.
He said fast tracking NRM Manifesto implementation for example in the energy sector, will facilitate reduction of unemployment among Bazzukulu as they will be able to use electricity to start up small businesses in their localities.
Hon. Obua who’s also the MP for Ajuri county in Alebtong district, crowned his visit by endorsing the activities of #OmalakoJajja TovaKuMain #SigalaKuBallot thereby endorsing H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni as sole candidate for the 2026 General Elections.
