Under fire! Give Us A Break! Voters Heckle MP John Musila Over Alleged Poor Performance!

By Racheal Nabwire

John Musila, the Member of Parliament for Bubulo East, faced a tough crowd in Namboko and Nabitsikhi sub-counties as the NRM launched joint campaigns for the Bubulo East constituency in Namisindwa District.

The Bubulo East NRM primaries have attracted five aspirants, Enoch Khaemba, Amos Masibo, Wakama James, Khaukha Stephen, John Musila (Incumbent)

During the rally in Namboko Sub-county, voters openly challenged the MP’s track record. Moses Wandabwa questioned what Musila had done for the area, apart from “making noise.”

In Nabitsikhi, Nakhaika Anthony pressed him on the delayed upgrade of Bubutu Health Centre III, while Meure Geofrey reminded the MP of the promises he made in 2021 when the community gave him a block vote. He demanded to know why voters should re-elect him when those promises remain unfulfilled.

In his defense, MP Musila cited the Angororo Dam project as one of his achievements. However, residents quickly responded, saying the dam was a World Bank project dating back to 2017, when Musila was still serving as LCV Chairperson, not MP.

Meanwhile, other candidates like Amos Masibo pledged to be consistently available, transparent, and accountable to voters if elected.
