Mujomba S. Gagi has intensified his door-do-door campaign strategy in Iki-Iki Constituency meeting several voters at their homes.

This strategy has excited many voters viewing him as a down to earth leader whose approach has bonded him with the locals.
Although he also holds rallies, voters hailed him for his organized way of meeting them listening to their concerns right at grassroots level.
Yesterday, the MP to be for Iki-Iki Constituency in Budaka district, spent it combing Kakoli subcounty where he addressed crowds and also carried on with his door to door visits to homes.
While at Kavule Trading Center in Kakoli, Mujomba Gagi addressed crowds who included women, youth and grannies.
The MP aspirant before addressing them gave chance to the locals to point out issues affecting their area which they want him to address once they give him the mandate.
“We’re very grateful that you have come. This is the kind of leader we have been longing for as people of Kakoli. A person who comes to the ground to pick our views. We thank God we’ve finally got one” Annet Nasio told the gathering.
Namusisi Robinah, a resident of Kavule Trading Center, told Mujomba that as women, they’re doing badly financially and some of them are into hiding courtesy of loans.
“Our husbands have abandoned us a lot. They leave responsibilities to us. We end up borrowing money and the money lenders are hunting for many of the women you see here. We hide and only return at night. We need your help” she said.
The locals also informed him that their water sources mainly boreholes need repairs.
In response, Mujomba pledged to work on boreholes and also promised to support women and youth groups.

He said through his mega office he has set up at Iki-Iki Town Council, youths will be trained in skilling programs so as to make them job creators.
“Youths will be trained in electronic repairs, motor vehicle repairs, petroleum jelly making, hair dressing among others. I am also going to support women groups” he pledged.
Mujomba drew wild cheers from the crowds after he announced that during his tenure as MP if elected, he will educate five children from every subcounty in Iki-Iki Constituency. He said this is intended to boost literacy levels in the Constituency. The locals also cried to him over what they called being sidelined on the recent donation worth Shs100m which the President gave to MPs to take to the voters. Mujomba asked them to pressurize their incumbent members to give them that money because it belongs to them.
Meanwhile, in what seemed to be their readiness to deal with whoever intends to rig elections in Iki-Iki Constituency, the locals made comical guns made out of yam leaves to guard Mujomba’s votes and those of President Museveni. They vowed to protect the votes jealously.
“We want Mujomba Gagi in parliament. He is the right man to work with President Museveni. We want to send Museveni back to State House and also give him someone with whom they will work together” the youths explained. They commended Mujomba for taking time to meet them and also hailed him for his down to earth character.
