As President Museveni stood firm to fight corruption, NRM Secretary General Rt Hon Richard Todwong has urged Makerere University student leaders to take his message and always shun corrupt officials.

Todwong made this call during a one day training for Guild leaders at Makerere university.
“I beg you young leaders not to be involved in corruption. You should be bitter about corrupt officials. Corruption is the biggest problem we have as government not opposition” an angry SG Todwong said.

He revealed that Ugandans are tired of NRM because of the stealing of public resources by a few greedy officials, hence the need to advocate for the future where putting on yellow is admirable for every body.
Todwong advised youths to exercise patience in their leadership borrowing a leaf from NRM chairman Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
He added that NRM principles underscored discipline, humility and respect for leaders as a fundamental contribution to youth growth.
“Always be humble and flexible to fit in any environment after education. 38 years of NRM are not by mistake. Our boss President Museveni is always very patient and consultative which has helped him to succeed in this political career” He stressed.
