The Minister of State for Energy and Mineral Development (Minerals), Hon. Phiona Nyamutoro has today July 16, 2025 , recieved over 200 defectors from the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) and National Unity platform (NUP) in Nebi district.
Minister Nyamutoro, who was in company of the Head of RDC Secretariat Maj.Martha Asiimwe welcomed Hundreds of FDC & NUP leaders plus their supporters in Nebbi district who joined NRM to mobilize for President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni saying enough was enough in the opposition.
” I welcome you to the NRM party . Our party is built on these pillars ; patriotism, Pan-Africanism, socio-economic transformation, and democracy .
‘ NRM is in serious business and doesn’t bribe anyone to join it but people understand it’s good idealogies , ” Minister Nyamutoro explained .
‘ We must ensure to maintain the strong foundation president Museveni has built for the party for sustainable future. It’s so crucial to train young people concerning the NRM ideologies and it’s tenents . I implore people out there to join NRM, Minister Nyamutoro sounded her appeal.’
Maj. Martha Asiimwe , who heads the RDC secritariat in the office of the president, urged locals in Nebi district to vote wisely and avoid voting opposition candidates.
” Vote NRM candidates by doing so you will kick poverty out of your area but as long as you continue to vote the opposition -you won’t solve your problems , ” Maj. Martha Asiimwe stated.
