Messiah! Muslims Hold Special Prayers For MP-To-Be Mujomba Gagi, Beseeching Allah To Cause Change In Iki-Iki County Come 2026!

The political tempo in Iki-Iki County has gained momentum following the entry of NRM blue-eyed boy Hon. Mujomba S Gagi into the race for Iki-Iki County MP seat.

Mujomba who is an unquestionable NRM cadre and Gen. Museveni’s trusted boy, has finally responded to the calls of his people to liberate Iki-Iki County which they say has been limping due to lack of a proper bridge.

The Constituency is currently represented by Robert Kasolo whom voters suggest must now prepare to explain in capital letters why they should continue keeping him in the legislature in 2026.

“We keep voting for people hoping that things will change but here we’re, nothing to show! Iki-Iki county has been lacking someone who can speak, make follow-up and then deliver. All people we have sent to Parliament have disappeared the moment they get there” said Yahaya Mutenya a voter in Iki-Iki.

To show their determination to change the status quo, leaders of Iki-Iki County held special prayers for their new son and MP-to-be Mujomba S Gagi to liberate the Constituency from that they called jaws of inefficiency, lack of transparency and disunity.

“I am a Moslem but I remain a son of Iki-Iki County and I live with people of different faiths. When I produce my rice, do it know who is buying it whether he’s a Moslem or not? Then why do we fight each other? Mujomba is here to unite all of us as a people. This is why we must fight hard to have him represent us. He’s not selfish and lives with us here in Iki-Iki” declared Sheikh Mutwalibu Yasin.

The Moslems have also prepared for Mujomba a list of issues he should prioritize once he gets sworn-in as MP. Among them included empowerment of the people especially youths, women and farmers. They specifically complained of substandard animal vaccines on the market, exploitation by middlemen who buy their rice, high number of school dropouts and above all, poor roads which affect transport. As a sign of unity, the special prayers were also attended by non-Muslims.

Meanwhile, Mujomba commended them for the support given to him and the special prayers. He however, urged them to embrace government programs especially the Parish Development Model program which he said is meant to address some of the challenges they are facing.

“Agriculture is a key component in the PDM, so let’s ensure that we all embrace this program. If we improve on our agriculture production and productivity, we shall be able to improve on our household income. This is what H.E President Yoweri Museveni wants in pushing for this program” he said.
