Ignore Them At Your Own Cost! Security Names Top 3 Female Power Brokers To Shape 2026 In All Regions!

As 2026 draws nearer, a security analysis of women who will shape the outcome of the elections (mainly for female politicians) at various levels in the country has exclusively leaked to us.

These women whose political influence is viewed as a power center of sorts is part of an analysis to gauge the impact of the current government led by women on the electorates.

It’s should be recalled that in this term, President Museveni has appointed women to key government positions including Vice President, Speaker of Parliament (endorsed for election), Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister (s) among many other top positions in the MDAs.

However, as the term gets closer to an end, Inspectors said it was important for the security network to make an analysis on how women have performed and their impact on the local voters so as to inform the next decision makers on the next step after the election.

In every subregion, three key women were selected across the political divide. In this PART ONE of exposure, we reveal who they are but begining with Bugisu and Buganda regions in detail.

BUGANDA

Here we have Ruth Nankabirwa, Betty Nambooze and Rose Namayanja Nsereko.

NANKABIRWA

She has been a Minister in Museveni’s government for countless times and has also been Woman MP Kiboga for decades. She lost her seat in 2021 to Nakimwero of National Unity Platform. Nankabirwa however, seems to be out of elective politics but her quitting doesn’t mean she’s out of the political equation.

The lady from Kiboga is well entrenched within the Protestant church and one can even mistake her to be the defacto ‘deputy Archbishop of Uganda’!

Inspectors revealed to us that in the run up the hotly contested 2021 Presidential polls, intelligence suggested that the Catholics were determined to take State House job. A meeting was allegedly organized where a top clergy in the Anglican church met the President. The President according to Inspectors, poured his heart out to the top man with robes, indicating to him of the ‘threat’ at hand at the time.

This meeting we’re told resolved that a secret counter offensive within the Anglican church be undertaken. The Man of God was allegedly assigned with the task of reaching out to all his men particularly Reverends and deliver this message.

“All Reverends were mobilized in their Dioceses and the message was secretly passed. They were told that the Catholics were determined to snatch the thing (power) from them. So, the Reverends were asked to secretly pass on this message to their lay leaders in their parishes who would secretly pass the same threat onto their flock. That’s how the threat was extinguished covertly” explained an inspector adding that Nankabirwa who is very close to the Archbishop and is now a Canon in the Anglican church, allegedly played a part in this.

Inspectors said, with her recent canonization and her decision to quit elective politics, Nankabirwa who is known for executing Gen. Museveni’s private assignments will be pivotal in mobilizing the clergy for tasks ahead. Inspectors also informed us that Museveni had also passed on the similar concern to the Queen through her team that was sent here to be part of the enthronement of Bishop Kazimba Mugalu as the Archbishop of Uganda where Nankabirwa was the overseer on behalf of government. Apparently, during this team’s visit to State House, Museveni allegedly urged them to talk to his friend the Queen to see how best she could help him preserve his mantle.

Publicly, Museveni is neither a Hajji nor a Rev. Fr, but is said to be an Anglican, the reason he secretly allegedly reached out to this friends in the Anglican faith.

We’re however, told the Queen’s team which met him at the time, informed him that London was also concerned that throughout his tenure as President, the Anglican church had allegedly not benefited much but instead, the Balokole had taken the lion’s share.

“Look at the churches, how many are they now compared to those of Balokole? Almost on every village, there are two or three Balokole churches but how many are for us? How about schools? How about access to businesses and government jobs? We see more Balokole getting more than any other person. Even those Catholics could be raising their head because of the same issues we’re facing as Anglicans” an inspector revealed of the situation at the time of 2021 during the said meeting. The team we’re told urged him to ‘balance the boat’ in case he secured another term in office.

This therefore, partly explains why when he assumed another term, Museveni in trying to appease the Catholics, gave all top jobs to them but appointed mostly Women on those key government positions. The Anglicans also secured more seats in cabinet and he also helped settle the outstanding bill they had with Equity Bank over the Church House! He has also gone ahead to merge all government Agencies where a lot of Balokole had allegedly become ‘Small Gods’.

Gen. Museveni has thus reverted their budget to Mainstream Ministries which the Catholics and Anglicans feel is in line with their Institutional set up and not agencies which promote Theft of Funds. This the underlying reason the Head of State wasn’t willing to compromise on the merger of Agencies because he wanted to put things back to normal and strengthen the Ministries. Nankabirwa therefore, is said to be a woman to watch as the next election nears and also her role in the next government is expected to be big.

NAMBOOZE

The NUP legislator for Mukono municipality is on this list of women to watch in Buganda. Although she hasn’t been assigned a bigger role in NUP, Nambooze is actually said to be part of the secret team that advises Robert Kyagulanyi Bobi Wine. She’s influential when it comes to Buganda and Mengo affairs and her presence in the political arena is viewed as a plan by Mengo to politically emancipate women in Buganda. Besides the Mengo assignments, Nambooze’s longevity in parliament makes her knowledgeable on the movers and shakers in Museveni’s government, the reason Bobi can’t lose her. We’re told she’s part of the secret vetting team in NUP for all female NUP candidates at all levels in Buganda and also alerts him on double dealers in the opposition.

NAMAYANJA

The deputy secretary general of NRM is also a former legislator and cabinet minister. Just like Anita Among, the duo were are said to have been campaign agents for Joseph Luzige (former Mityana district chairman) when he was campaigning for Makerere University guild presidency. Anita is now speaker of Parliament, Namayanja Deputy SG and her clock continues to tick for more political assignments.

Like Nambooze, Namayanja also knows the intricate corridors of Mengo government and has always been among the secret teams that bridge the gap between Museveni and Mengo. Her roles began during her days as chairperson Buganda caucus and she hasn’t looked back on such roles. With Buganda being hyper politically active, Namayanja’s role according to Inspectors will be to mobilize wanainchi through Buganda chiefs. Remember, NRM was badly bruised by NUP in 2021 and her role to redeem the ruling party’s chances is highly rated in the corridors of power!

BUGISU

Here, the names mentioned were Beatrice Wabudeya, Irene Muloni, Connie Nakayenze Ggaliwango and Wasagali.

WABUDEYA

A born of Budadiri East, Dr. Wabudeya is married in the West. She’s currently an SPA on Veterinary services and to be exact, she oversees Gen. Museveni’s farm veterinary drugs. That aside, the former minister who’s now a retired politician, is said to be still the main female power broker among Bamasaaba.

Wabudeya is said to have a vast network of mobilizers whom she amassed during her tenure as Minister for the Presidency currently under Milly Babirye Babalanda.

Here, she ensured that many Bagisu sons and daughters are appointed as RDCs including those considered to be academic dwarfs so long as they had the ability to mobilize the masses. Remember, at the time the law wasn’t as stringent as it today where papers are emphasized. That way, Inspectors said Wabudeya managed to create a network of mobilizers who will be pivotal in the coming elections. Among those she appointed include Wilson Watiira (former chairman Bududa), Joram Mayasa (former NRM chairman Mbale), Evelyn Wasagali (works at Equal Opportunities Commission and also ONC regional coordinator), Umar Nangoli, Karim Masaba (MP) and Micheal Werikhe  with whom they worked together in cabinet and parliament. Werikhe is said to be Wabudeya’s extended family relative and she helped much molding him.

These and many more are said to be politically active and are spread across Bugisu making Wabudeya a force to reckon with come 2026. She’s said to have a political stature, an NRM original and very much respected and knows the territory very well. Her power prowess is said to be NRM’s target as the election draws closure!

IRENE MULONI

What’s happening in Lango over the election of the rightful Paramount Chief is what was happening in Bugisu. Museveni according to Inspectors had failed to get someone to sort this problem. On one hand was Wagabyalire and Jude Mike Mudoma on the other. Wagabyalire paraded himself as the Cultural leader of Inzu Ya Bamasaaba while Mudoma paraded himself as the Cultural leader of The Institution of Omuguga We Bamasaaba! We’re told this caused more confusion and yet Wagabyalire had already secured himself the official coronation site at Mutoto. Inspectors said on a close analysis, Mudoma was found to be the most favored person among Bamasaaba and therefore, was enthroned the Omuguga We Bamasaaba. Inspectors said covertly, Muloni did some homework for the big man and that’s how this confusion which had lasted years ended with Mudoma being enthroned at a colorful function attended by the President through VP Alupo among other dignitaries. Mudoma with the guidance from seniors like Muloni, also allowed government to make the Imbalu ceremony a national tourism venture as opposed to a local event. This in turn, earned foreign exchange for government and also marketed him as a development oriented cultural leader.

Therefore, on the Cultural front, Muloni is credited for ending the power struggles and is seen as an organizer at that level.

Besides this, Muloni during her days in cabinet, is said to have reduced on the darkness in the East through the Rural Electrification program. She took electricity to several corners and also helped reduce on power outages. That way, she boosted job creation the reason she is said to have various connections to the business community in the area and Industrialists. However, we’re told power outages worsened when she was knifed and replaced as energy Minister.

We’re all told that Muloni faces opposition from Manafwa where her successor Goreti Kitutu hails from. Inspectors said the duo accuse each other of having schemed against the other and it’s the reason the two can’t meet for strategic deliberations. However, their fights notwithstanding, Muloni is said to have a following mostly within the business community whom Museveni badly needs as the vote nears. Museveni would also need to work with a calm Cultural Institution something Irene is credited to have addressed covertly.

NAKAYENZE

She’s been woman MP for three terms now and she’s said to be making a come back although Inspectors said she had brought Ritah Namuwenge.

We’re told the wife to former NRM director for finance Hajji Hassan Ggaliwango (RIP), has rebranded herself when she came out and spoke loudly against the Coffee Bill. This has allegedly left her colleagues on the defensive among their voters. That aside, Connie still enjoys the support of Muslims whom her hubby Ggaliwango was very close to and worked for enormously.

Besides, Nakayenze is said to enjoy the support of the opposition due to her stand on contentious issues on the floor. Remember she also opposed the Age Limit lifting something which nearly cost her hubby his job at NRM secretariat. But according to Inspectors, Connie is among the ladies whom NRM will have to contend with if it wants to win the Bugisu vote. She’s said to be well entrenched among the Moslem community and Anglicans in addition to riding on ‘pro-people’ sentiments. Actually, Inspectors said among all the influential ladies here, Connie Nakayenze takes the lead. Most female politicians are hunting for her to for endorsement, making her a serious force ahead of 2026.

However, on top of the three, Dr. Sarah Wasagali Kanaabi is laying an ambush building a strong Muslim power base that may influence vote outcome in that Sub-Region!

In other subregions, we have the following ladies. In Busoga, it’s Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga, Justine Lumumba and Florence Mutyabule while in Bukedi, there’s Nekesa Barbara, Sarah Opendi and Monica Musenero although Nebanda is to some extent is also mentioned. In Lango subregion, it’s a tussle between Betty Amongi, Ruth Aceng and Rebecca Amuge Otengo who’s said to be playing the role of Senior Woman after the demise of Mama Cecilia Atim Ogwal.

In Acholi subregion, the names include Betty Aol Ochan, Beatrice Anywar and Lilian Aber while in West Nile subregion, there’s Margaret Babadiri, Catherine Mavenjina and Huda Oleru. In Kigezi subregion, they talked of Catherine Ndamira, Ingrid Turinawe while Ankole has Mama Janet Kataha Museveni, Can. Karooro Okurut and Katusiime Mugisha.

Rwenzori Subregion has Winnie Kiiza, Jane Alisemera and a one Josephine Bebona while Bunyoro boasts of Robinah Nabbanja, Asinasi Annet and Kahunde Hellen. Tooro Subregion has Victoria Rusoke, Flavia Kabahenda while Karamoja has Margaret Achila, Anyakun and Rose Lilly. In Teso, there’s Jessica Alupo, Anita Among and Helen Andoa while Sebei is still being assessed. Watch out for details on each of these in PART TWO!
