Gen. Museveni Pursues NUP’s Nambetshe As Deal Secrets In Posh Mbale Hotel Leak!

Gen. Museveni and Nambetshe

All is not well within the NRM top circles as a would-be Eid Al Fitr political prey in the name of John Baptist Nambetshe has allegedly not worked out yet hence affecting the bull roasting plans!

Nambetshe, the MP for Manjiya county in Bududa district and also NUP vice president for Eastern region/NUP chief whip is said to have been earmarked for defecting to his former party-NRM before Eid.

Inspectors informed us that just last week, a top motor-mouthed NRM member from Butaleja district was allegedly dispatched to execute the Nambetshe mission. He was given all armaments fit for the Nambetshe Special Political Operation (SPO). The mission was code named ‘Operation Magendo’ to mean Nambetshe! We’re told the NUP legislator before joining politics had been a businessman involved in cross border trade between Kenya and Uganda and it is here that some nicknamed him ‘Magendo’!

The Museveni aide we’re informed pitched camp at Mbale Elgon hotel where he spent three good days waiting for the man from Bududa but alas, nothing happened.

Inspectors said as the dark-skinned Butaleja aide waited, he kept his eyes wide open at the gate hoping to see his prey entering.

“He kept patrolling the hotel gardens scanning everywhere thinking that Nambetshe was somewhere in the corners, but nothing happened. He decided to put his chair at the balcony to see whoever entered, and again; nothing happened. Day one, ended without anything appearing in form of Nambetshe” explained an inspector.

On Day two, the aide we’re told repeated the same approach including deploying a spy around the gate to see if all women entering the hotel were actually women. In his calculation, the aide thought Nambetshe would disguise himself and dress up like a woman in a gomesi so as to conceal his identity!

Left with no option, the aide according to Inspectors decided to pick his phone and called Nambetshe.

“Hullo, musaakulu, where are you? I am already at the venue armed with everything required for the operation. When are you joining me?” An inspector quoted the giant aide as telling Nambetshe who kept telling him that he was coming soonest.

At this juncture, the aide swung into high moods upon getting Nambetshe’s ‘confirmation’. We’re told to prove his happiness, he reached out for his computer, connected it to his subwoofer and played loud music in his hotel room. He started dancing to his favorite songs ‘Saawa ya matako’ (time to break the rib) and Empere as his belly threw itself in all directions like a balloon in the air.

“He played the two songs severally before switching to Lingala song Muzina by Tabuley (In the name of the Father, the Son and Holly Spirit). The room was filled with high music as the aide waited for his guest to finally show up. Oh, it was a real good moment as he danced in the room to Empere track” explained an inspector, adding that as he danced, he kept saying ‘we rule the city, we rule the city’

However, as he danced, something kept ringing a bell in his head. “Is he really coming? What am I going to tell Omugagga?’

So, when it was apparent that  Nambetshe could have been playing games, he picked his phone and dialled his digits again. This time though, the phones had been switched off.

Breathing heavily like a kindling rabbit, the aide we’re told sat back in his chair and exclaimed, ‘oh my God! He has played me up’

Finally, Nambetshe’s phones allegedly switched on. The moment the aide saw alerts from the telecom service providers saying the numbers he had tried to dial are now available, he rang again only to receive breaking news from the NUP giant!

“Oh, musaakulu, forgive me I will not make it. I am in western Uganda for committee work. Please I am not coming” an inspector quoted the NUP giant as telling the aide.

That’s how the deal flopped but our Inspectors are still following up.

However, inspectors stated that no matter how long a rat lives, it remains food for the cat!

“Nambetshe will finally return to his former NRM party. He’s going to come back no matter how long it takes. He also knows this. Maybe Mzee will have to engage another person to do this mission” an inspector said.

Gen. Museveni

We’re told part of the freebies that await Nambetshe is the possible appointment of him to a full cabinet minister to replace disgraced former minister Gorreti Kitutu who was sacked recently alongside her partner in crime Agnes Nandutu.

Nandutu hails from Bududa while Kitutu from Manafwa both hailing from Bugisu’s southern region. The south is currently orphaned as Museveni fired both ministers over stealing iron sheets from their offices. The president however, didn’t name a full cabinet minister for Bugisu like he has always done, but inspectors suggest that if Nambetshe styles up, he is destined for this appointment just like it was done to Norbert Mao of DP.

In case he plays hide and seek, inspectors said Museveni is looking at appointing his private lawyer based in London Peter Magomu Mashate to any good position in government if not full cabinet minister in order to appease the (now) angry Bagisu who accuse him of withholding position.

Museveni in doing this, would want to also appease Prof. Dan Wadada Nabudere family which seems has never smelt any of his appointment in spite of his historical touch with the late Nabudere. Mashate we’re told is a member of the Nabudere family although he hails from Sironko (northern Bugisu).

“Like Churchhill once said, Events, Events, Events is the most challenging aspect with politics. Even Museveni might cause slight changes in the near future just as he did in 2016 at the height of campaigns. He appointed three ministers including Rose Akol as minister for internal affairs because the Itesots were complaining and yet he didn’t want to lose that vote to Besigye. So, don’t get surprised when something happens to cater for Bugisu current complaints” explained an inspector.
