By Field Inspectors

A concerned parent identified as Ainebyona Micheal, has petitioned the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Education and Sports, urging her to interest herself in what he called mismanagement Kyambogo College School.

In a two page-letter dated October 17, 2025 and copied to the Education minister Janet Museveni, UNICEF country representative among others, Ainebyona alleged that there is concrete evidence on what he called mismanagement of this school by one of the top administrators [names withheld]. He claimed that for example, in the area of ethics, there is progressive degeneration of ethics and code of conduct at the school.

He suggested that one recent incident occurred mid this month of October where it was discovered that one of the top administrators at the school had been having suspicious interactions with one of the students [names withheld] in A’level who has since been take away from the school.

“This was discovered by a fellow teacher who has always charged this girl’s phone [yet the phones are prohibited in the school]. It was discovered that in their whatsapp chat, Osama [not real names] was routinely sharing his nudes with the girl, an act that is not fit for a personality of this officer” part of the letter reads.

The petitioner claimed that upon learning of this shameful incident, the parents of the girl decided to take her out of this school because fellow students had started bullying and mocking her over her alleged suspicious face-face interactions with the randy officer.

“Further investigations reveal that its not only Edeh [not real names] who has fallen victim to this said officer, but that there are several other girls the officer has allegedly been terrorizing’ it reads in part.

The petitioner urged the ministry to carry out intense investigations on this school and some of its officers as continued misconduct only demeans the ministry’s commitment towards achieving its vision of Quality Education and Sports for all, and also impedes the successful implementation of national strategies, laws and policies on Girl child education. We have deliberately left out the names of the alleged officer to allow the ministry carry out its investigations and also alert the school’s administration to take remedial measures in case they aren’t aware of these allegations in the petition.
