On regional skilling and innovation Hubs, she says that government should establish a national youth centre with regional Hubs for training, innovation and business incubation.

“This aligns with Uganda’s manufacturing ambitions and tackles unemployment directly” Nankya noted

Finally about laws that protect and empower youths, Nankya told our inspector that government needs to pass and enforce laws like the minimum wage bill.

“Youth in informal sector and abroad deserve protection from exploitation” she said adding that our struggles shouldn’t be used to sabotage NRM government.

Recently, after a thorough investigations the NRM legal team as directed by President Museveni during the delegates conference, the legal team nullified the declaration of Tanga Collins and directed the NRM EC to organize fresh elections for the chairperson of NRM youth league which will be announced as soon as possible.
